In Spring 2004 Mi Padre and I ventured from Seattle to China. I had originally asked to go to Thailand, as it is our habit to irregularly travel outside the United States together. He decided on China instead, and I enjoyed my trip: from towering Pagodas and modern sky rises to Mahjong players and Tang Dynasty Dance performances. We traveled Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai, as well as the surrounding areas, climbed the Great Wall, and much more. Enjoy this peek into my journeys in the East, as well as into how I see things through my minds eye. Note: there were two major photographic obsessions this trip- children and street cleaners. I have a vast collection of each from this trip... this collection is just that, a handful, a taste. Cheers.
